Troubleshooting

Resolve common capture, audio, permission, and launch problems.

Private by default

Snappilot processes your content locally. No account, analytics service, or cloud upload is involved.

Capture is blank

Confirm Screen Recording is enabled for Snappilot, quit the app completely, and reopen it.

No microphone or system audio

Check the selected audio source and confirm Microphone permission. Some protected content cannot be captured by macOS.

Shortcuts do not respond

Check for a conflict in Settings and assign a different global shortcut.
